The year-round employees can cash in up to 30 unused vacation days when they resign and up to 50 when they retire. Like teachers, they also are paid for their remaining sick and personal days upon retirement.

Full-time employees accrue 8 hours of sick leave each month and it may be used when the employee or an immediate family member is ill or for medical appointments. An employee accrues and is eligible to use sick leave beginning on the first day of employment.
