How do you remove a leaf spring from a rear axle?
If this is going to be performed with the axle shaft still in the axle, use a nut with a few well-lubed washers along with oil on the stud threads to pull the stud in place. Before beginning the leaf spring removal, remove the brake lines and cables to get them out of the way.
