The Festival of Quilts was launched in 2003 in partnership with The Quilters’ Guild as a hub for people from all over the world to come together and share their passion for quilting. 17 years on and it is now the biggest quilting show in Europe attracting over 26,000 quilting fanatics each year.

Paducah QuiltWeek 2020 was canceled because of the pandemic as well.

How many quilters are there at Quilt week?
Quiltmakers of all ages from 10 to 90 hold workshops during the Quilt Week and exhibit their art at one of many “show-and-tell” exhibits that showcase first-time quilters, young, male or other specific quilters. Altogether there are over 500 of them participating in the festival.
