How do I submit a film to the Berlinale?
In order to submit a film to the Berlinale you have to send the film and the completed film entry form to the festival before the given deadline. The festival does not consider film entries for which the selections screeners have not been submitted within the deadline.
Does Berlinale require world premiere?
Please note: German productions and co-productions have to be world premieres in order to be eligible for Competition, Encounters and Berlinale Shorts. For Panorama, Forum and Generation a European premiere is required. Films may neither have been presented in Europe nor in Germany beforehand.
