Can you keep a royal gramma and a Dottyback together?
As said above i would not advise this. Dottyback can kill fish bigger than them. They can be very aggressive. The royal gramma are very laid back and relaxed and would not stand a chance or else be in hiding all the time.

Royal grammas are a little more outgoing, a little more peaceful, and more brightly colored. I had a orchid that was a total jerk (yes – I confirmed that it was an orchid not the other evil dottybacks [emoji28]). It really hated wrasses and picked on most of my other fish.

I had an purple dottyback (not an orchid) w fish it’s own size and he was such a jerk that I’m terrified of ever getting another dottyback ever again. He was incredibly intelligent, had a personality, and was my favourite fish.
