The Transom Trim Control Switch provides a weatherproof tilt control system at the stern area of the boat to facilitate placing motor support in position with one person. Switch can also be used for remote adjustment of hydraulic jack plates.

Trim is controlled with a toggle button on the control lever or on the dash. The trim system uses hydraulic rams to change the angle of the outboard motor or sterndrive gearcase—and with it the angle of the propeller shaft—relative to the boat transom, through a range of about 20 degrees.

Use a short piece of wire as a jumper and jump it across the small red and small blue wires on the UP solenoid. MOTOR SHOULD RUN but may just click. IF IT JUST CLICKS then jump across the large red and large blue wires.
