Why is there a bus stop on Pepper Lane in reading?
The south-east bound (towards Lower Earley) Pepper Lane (University) bus stop will be out of use from Monday 21 June until Sunday 25 July 2021. This is for work by Reading Borough Council in preparation for a new pedestrian crossing. A temporary bus stop is located about 70 yards further along Pepper Lane.
