What is Besivance eye drops used for?
BESIVANCE® (besifloxacin ophthalmic suspension) 0.6% is a fluoroquinolone antibacterial medicine used to treat an infection of the eye called conjunctivitis, caused by certain types of germs called bacteria. Contact your doctor for more information about this type of eye infection or the bacteria that cause it.
How often do you use Besivance?
This medication is used in the affected eye(s) usually 3 times a day, with at least 4 hours or as many as 12 hours between each dose, or as directed by your doctor. Your dosage and length of treatment are based on your medical condition and response to treatment.
Is Besivance eye drops thick?

Patients should not wear contact lenses if they have signs or symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis or during the course of therapy with BESIVANCE. The most common adverse event reported in approximately 2% of patients treated with BESIVANCE was conjunctival redness.
