Although the C7A2 was removed from the game until its return in July 2020, the C79 optic remained as an attachment for other weapons. Currently, it is the second AR-15 model in game using the standard A2 style handguard with the first model being the Beowulf ECR. The other AR-15 rifles in game use a railed handguard.
