Are Shands and UF health the same?
Meanwhile, UF&Shands, the University of Florida Academic Health Center, is now University of Florida Health. But the hospital in Gainesville will retain Shands as part of its name, becoming UF Health Shands Hospital. The name changes do not alter day-to-day operations.
