Can You tame anything above your Taming skill?
Every type of tamable critter has a minimum skill needed to attempt to tame it. Each taming attempt has a chance to gain skill, regardless of if the animal is actually tamed. Taming something above your taming skill is impossible and taming something way below your taming skill is too easy.
Is it acceptable to be opposite someone who has a tamer?
It is typically acceptable to be opposite someone already taming, but it is considered very rude (and likely to get you killed) to be close enough to another tamer so that your character can see their tamed bulls. The maximum is 2 tamers per pen outside of the fence.
