What is a parkrun badge?
parkrun values participation at events and celebrates the achievements of all participants, walkers, joggers, runners and volunteers, by welcoming them into the various milestone clubs.
Is there an app for parkrun?

Can you do park run without barcode?

What does the Green Leaf mean on Park Run?
1 point for doing a parkrun for the first time. (must be indicated by a green leaf on the official parkrun results ) 2 points for a parkrun PB. (not an event PB) 2 points for volunteering in a non running roll.

New Year’s Day is the one day when it’s sometimes possible to do two parkruns in one day. In areas with lots of parkruns some of them start later on January 1st, so that people can start the new year with a double parkrun.
What is a decent time for a 5k?
Average time and pace Everyday runners can aim to complete a mile in about 9 to 12 minutes. This means you’ll finish a 5K in about 28 to 37 minutes. Walkers can expect to complete a mile in about 15 to 20 minutes. Walking at a brisk pace should enable you to finish a 5K at around the hour mark.

We know that parkrun is unusual in requiring you to bring a printed copy of your barcode rather than showing it on your phone. This policy may change in the future but for now the strict ‘no printed barcode, no result’ policy remains and is made clear on the PDF barcode file and in the FAQs.
