First introduced in 1981 the DR250 evolved from a SOHC two valve air cooled 17hp engine enduro through to a DOHC AIR/OIL cooled four valve 29hp machine by 1991. It was always a popular choice with both novice and expert, giving enough performance to please the latter and not frighten the former.
