Are Derwent Coloursoft pencils good?
Most of these pencils are great. They’re not too soft nor hard and blend smoothly. There’s a nice variety of colors, and it’s not to heavy on one specific group of colors(Too many blues or greens etc.). This would be a five star pencil set, if there weren’t so many with defects.

What is the difference between Derwent Procolour and Coloursoft pencils?
One of the main differences that I have noticed between this range and Coloursoft is the feel of the pencil. Procolour glides so effortlessly and I just love the experience of using these pencils. It’s so relaxing and no work at all to fill the paper.
Is Derwent Coloursoft oil or wax?
Because of how soft the Derwent Colorsoft Pencils are, they can leave a pretty thick layer of color upon application. Because of this, it can sometimes feel “gritty” during use. This is partially due to the less-than-waxy nature of these (despite actually being made of wax), which can be a good thing or a bad thing.
