San Antonio is famous for its Hispanic culture and Spanish colonial missions. It’s also known for the Alamo, SeaWorld, and the Riverwalk. But there are a lot more of things that San Antonio is famous for.

How long does it take to tour the Alamo?

There is a lot to see at The Alamo, and we’d suggest you plan to visit for at least 1 hour. Those really interested in the history of the site should allot 2 hours in order to have enough time to see everything you might be interested in.

Can you drink and walk on the Riverwalk?

No. A person with an alcoholic beverage can only exit a licensed premise to an open container area, which is defined as the boundaries of the Riverwalk. It does not allow you to walk anywhere within the Specialty Center except the Riverwalk.

Is the Alamo tour worth it?

It is important and worth seeing and there is a ton of information there to be seen/read along the way. We were probably there about 2 hours and could have read/seen more but we were kind of done. Its free and its the Alamo and so go see it and at least walk around a little bit so you’ve been there.
