Does the Post 9/11 GI Bill cover internships?
Post 9/11 GI Bill Take 50% or less of the full-time number of credits (in this case 6 or less) and no MHA is authorized at all. Because internships are generally taken towards the end of a degree program that may be the only credits a student has for that semester.
Can I use GI Bill for Fletc?
Students who attend FLETC are sponsored by their agency. Their courses are paid for on a reimbursable and not by individuals, and therefore not eligible for G.I. Bill educational reimbursement.
Can you work with GI Bill?
You can work when enrolled, or during breaks between terms. You can arrange with VA to work any number of hours you want during your enrollment. But, the total number of hours you work can’t be more than 25 times the number of weeks in your enrollment period.

Apprentices spend about 80% of their time learning on the job. That means you earn money while you learn. About 20% of your apprenticeship is spent in classroom-based training – also known as technical training.
How do you qualify for VRA?
To be eligible, the veteran must be:
- in receipt of a campaign badge for service during a war or in a campaign or expedition; OR.
- a disabled veteran, OR.
- in receipt of an Armed Forces Service Medal or Global War on Terrorism Service Medal for participation in a military operation, OR.
Can veterans use Chapter 35?
If you’re a dependent spouse or child—or the surviving spouse or child—of a Veteran, you may qualify for Chapter 35 benefits or job training through a GI Bill program.
How many on the job hours do most apprenticeships require?
Each level of an apprenticeship program is comprised of 1800 work experience hours, or roughly one year of 40-hour work weeks including your classroom training.
