Can you bring a cooler to the Indy zoo?
Can I bring a cooler/food and beverages into the Zoo? For health and safety reasons, guests must leave all coolers in their vehicles. Drinks with disposable lids and straws are not permitted. Guests can carry in reusable containers with beverages and child-size snack items.

Is the Indianapolis Zoo Kid Friendly?
I love the Indy zoo. The tigers come right up to the viewing glass. The dolphin dome is amazing. Many of the exhibits do not have walls, for example the Macaws and the butterfly exhibit. There are training feeding times that bring the animals like the cheetahs right up to the glass. This place is kid friendly, even for small children!
