The first step to sign up for any of PADI’s many scuba diving courses in Florida is to stop by a local PADI dive shop to enroll in the course and set up your in-water training time. You can check out all of their 125 PADI dive shops in Florida, which can be filtered by several options.
What is a referral dive?
Divers who enroll in a scuba diving referral program complete all their pool work with their local dive shop. Referral students save time on vacation because they show up ready to dive (after a brief pool check out).
How quick can you get scuba certified?
It’s possible to complete your confined and open water dives in three or four days by completing the knowledge development portion via PADI eLearning, or other home study options offered by your local dive shop or resort.

In order to complete your PADI Open Water Diver certification, you must complete academic training (Aquatic Adventures uses the PADI online Touch program), 5 confined water dives, and 4 open water dives.
Can you switch from SDI to PADI?
