How do you get a slash tone?
Here are some tips to help you sound like Slash:
- Tune to Eb standard (Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb)
- Don’t turn the gain up too high.
- Use a Marshall tube amp or Marshall-like amp.
- Use humbuckers, but avoid high-gain pickups.
- Add in effects as needed, but only use effects to enhance certain songs.
