Does Brooklyn Public Library accept book donations?
Brooklyn Public Library no longer accepts donations of books and other materials from the public for its collections at its neighborhood libraries. The Library’s collection is carefully curated to ensure that materials are relevant, up-to-date and in good condition.

The Brooklyn Public Library consists of a Central Library, a Business & Career Library, and 58 neighborhood branches in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. Eighteen libraries are historic Carnegie libraries. The Brooklyn Public Library also has five adult learning centers.
