Are there any problems with a D40?
While a lot of D40s were automatics, there were still plenty of manuals sold and these can have issues with clutch wear and total failure; the automatic is prone to losing Reverse gear because of a clip inside the transmission that wasn’t up to the job and can break way too often to be considered a one-off.
Does superior engineering do a 6”suspension kit for the D40?
Does anyone know what the differnce is between the Thai built and the South African built is? Superior Engineering do a 6” suspension kit (is this a Fabtech kit?) for the D40 but it specifies that it will only fit the Thai built D40 Do you know what side of the truck the driver sits in each?
