Getting to Wolf Trap is easy. Each venue has free parking and is only 3 miles from the Capital Beltway (I-495).

Main Gates open 90 minutes prior to show time, allowing all patrons to enter and enjoy the Park. If you purchased a lawn ticket, seat locations are “first come, first served” so patrons often line up at the gates prior to opening in order to get their preferred spot.

Chairs are allowed at the back section of the lawn. Those who want the best seats must sit on a blanket or on the grass. No seat cushions with back support are allowed because Wolf Trap rents these and wants your dollars.

Patrons may bring water into the covered seating area. Other beverages (wine, beer, mixed and soft drinks) may only be brought into the covered seating area in official Wolf Trap Cups, with the lid in place. Wolf Trap Cups are reusable and spill-safe, and may be purchased at the Gift Shops and Concessions.
