Where can I camp for free in Tofino?
There’s a free campsite on the north side of Kennedy Lake, accessible by vehicles by way of Kennedy Lake Road. The eight-km gravel road heads northeast from Highway 4, just south of Tofino. There are no services, but paddlers can launch from the beach camping area onto a large freshwater lake.
Is Hot Springs Cove worth?
It is really a beautiful boardwalk journey to the springs and I can’t say if I enjoyed that more or less than the destination. The 1.5 hour boat ride was beautiful and comfortable but unfortunately our guide was not feeling well so there was little information provided about the area.
