Is Siser sparkle layerable?
Siser Sparkle is the thinnest glitter material available. When applied, it is super smooth to the touch because the glittery flakes are embedded in the material. Sparkle is very special because it can be layered on top of – just like EasyWeed!
Why is my glitter HTV not sticking?
Not Enough Pressure First things first, the most common reason your HTV may not be sticking to your shirt, sweater or whatever else you’re applying it to may be because you’re not using enough pressure. And pressure is important. Without it, your HTV projects may not be as long lasting as you would like.
Can Siser sparkle HTV be layered?
We really do not recommend layering Glitter HTV. The results can be unpredictable and we cannot guarantee the longevity in the wash.
Can you layer Siser glitter?
So, Siser recommends you not layer glitter on top of glitter. They also recommend that you not put any other heat transfer material on top of glitter – it should be the top most layer. Why is my Siser HTV peeling?
Adding more and more pressing time to your design is going to begin to dry out the HTV, which makes it more susceptible to cracking and peeling. For most Siser materials, a 3-5 second press is enough to tack a layer down, but with products in the EasyWeed family you can get away with a 1 second tack!
How do I make my Siser HTV stick?
Siser Easyweed HTV is a medium pressure. With a heat press it is suggested that you put a piece of paper in the press (make sure the press is off) and close the press on your garment. You should not be able to pull the piece of paper out. If your pressure is to loose it can cause the HTV to not adhere.
