Is AirDog flow through?
Yes, it definitely is a “flow through” design.
How long do AirDog filters last?
AirDog replacement Fuel Filters are 2 Micron, and the typical service interval is 1 year, or 15,000 miles. Water Separators have a much longer service interval and replacement depends on the physical condition.
What does a fuel Preporator do?
The solution for diesel performance is the AirDog ® Fuel Preporator ®. It is the only filtration delivery system that separates air from the fuel, as well as water and particulates. This fuel system maintains the proper pressure flow to the transfer pump, eliminating cavitation and vapor.
What does a AirDog fuel system do?
The AirDog® Fuel Preporator® removes various contaminates, including entrained air/vapor, particulates and moisture, and removes excess fuel not needed by engines, allowing the fuel to flow through the regulator and return to the fuel tank.

Registered. It’s not required but will quiet down the fass pumps and cure 1/4 tank issues if you have them. The air dog 4g pumps are nice, plus they’re quiet as a church mouse. I run a fass 150 and no sump and haven’t had any issues to date.
Will a lift pump add HP?
For diesels, lift pumps are the unsung heroes of their respective performance world. In addition to making big horsepower a reality, they add reliability to the entire fuel system, yield improved filtration over stock and (if electric) offer infinite adjustability over fuel pressure.

Do you really need a fuel pressure gauge?
To summarize, there’s nothing wrong with a fuel pressure gauge. But a current probe can offer a much better look inside the fuel pump’s operation; sort of a fuel pump EKG. The current test is also easier, quicker, and cleaner to perform than a fuel pressure or volume test.
Are lift pumps worth it?
When You Need One. Anytime you plan to pursue more power than what your truck made in stock form, a lift pump is a good idea. Because the injection pump and injectors are arguably the most vital components in a diesel engine, keeping them supplied with plenty of fuel keeps them cool, lubricated and functioning properly …
What is the difference between AirDog and AirDog 2?
The pump and base assembly are designed differently from the original AirDog. It has a low amperage motor providing efficiency. The pump assembly on the AirDog II-4G has a Dual Inlet design allowing more fuel to flow into the Gerotor. This allows the pump to increase volume without having to work any harder.
