Does Fios run through coaxial cable?
Fios can be configured two ways from the ONT. One is coax and the other is ethernet. Contact Verizon and have them enable ethernet on the ONT and then run an ethernet cable from the ONT to the router. They like to use coax so you think you have to continue renting their equipment.
Can Fios work without coax?

Why does my Verizon router have a coax cable?
