Can you put soda in a ZOKU?
Once inner core is frozen, remove from freezer and place inside of Zoku’s protective sleeve. Pour the soda, cold brew, vanilla, and cinnamon into the inner core. Using Zoku’s spoon, gently scrape the sides of the inner core every 60 seconds for about 7 minutes, or until a slush texture forms.

It is possible that the soda was cooled to 27F, and that the freezing point of soda with lots of CO2 is 25F so it stays a liquid. When you open it, enough CO2 escapes to change the freezing point to 30F and some of the soda freezes.
