Can I customize my MagicBand?
Customizing your MagicBands is not a complicated process. There are simply two choices to make when personalizing and ordering MagicBands. Guests can now choose from the solid color MagicBand or they can choose to order a Premium MagicBand.
Where can I make a custom MagicBand?
Guests now have a new option to create and personalize retail MagicBands at Walt Disney World Resort. We recently opened a new retail MagicBand on Demand station inside the Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. location near Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom Park.
Can you reprogram Disney MagicBands?
A. No. Your MagicBand or card is unique to you and only you are authorized to access the benefits associated with it—including linked tickets, touch-to-pay purchases and other entitlements. Once a MagicBand or card is linked to your Disney account, it cannot be transferred to another person.
Do the old MagicBands still work?
If you have an old band from a previous on-property stay but are staying off-property on your next Disney vacation, you can take advantage of the convenience of reuse at no additional cost. Just remember it won’t work for charging privileges, since those are only for hotel guests.
Are MagicBands needed in 2021?
While it’s not required to have a MagicBand for your vacation, it certainly streamlines your experience and makes things a little easier. MagicBands will be upgrading to MagicBand+ in 2022, so keep your eye out for this exciting new offering that’s coming soon.
Did Disney get rid of solid color MagicBands?
Last year, Walt Disney World eliminated the complimentary solid-color MagicBands that were sent to guests pre-arrival. Disney also stopped offering free MagicBands to Annual Passholders. This means that all MagicBands now cost money–you don’t get free ones with resort reservations or for being an Annual Passholder.
Can you buy plain MagicBands?
You can, however, filter by color or theme. The plain colored MagicBands that were previously complimentary are now available at a “special pre-order price” of $5, with a comparable value of $14.99.
When will I receive my MagicBands?
If you customize between 10 and 6 days prior to your trip, you will receive your bands at your Disney hotel. If you don’t customize your MagicBands within 6 days of your visit, you will receive non-customized MagicBands at your resort hotel upon check-in. Disney advises that it can take 11 days for your customized MagicBands to arrive.
How can I customize my MagicBands?
It’s helpful to have your MagicBands available upon arrival at your Disney resort. You can further customize your MagicBands by personalizing it with decals and accessories. Specially designed MagicBands and accessories can be purchased at DisneyStore.com. You can also decorate your MagicBands with decals from MagicYourBand.com.
Are the Magic Band covers and decals waterproof?
Our Magic Band Covers and decals are fully waterproof, UV resistant, precision cut to the same shape as the MagicBand 2. They are ultra-flexible and include pre-punched holes for smaller sizes and offer an easy way to create custom Magic Bands.
Where do the MagicBands ship from?
The MagicBands ship directly to your home (to the address specified in your My Disney Experience account). At least 30 days prior to your trip, make sure to personalize your MagicBands. Customizing your MagicBands is a simple process.
