What are violations of Twitter?

When an account engages in abusive behavior, like sending threats to others or impersonating other accounts, we may suspend it temporarily or, in some cases, permanently.

Why did I get suspended on Twitter?
When we permanently suspend an account, we notify people that they have been suspended for abuse violations, and explain which policy or policies they have violated and which content was in violation. Violators can appeal permanent suspensions if they believe we made an error.
Can you get in trouble on Twitter?
According to Twitter’s Terms of Service, you may not post direct, specific threats of violence against others. Doing so may get your Twitter account suspended or banned if the Twitter team catches your post. However, in some cases, the penalties could be much, much worse.
Can Twitter track your phone number?
No, your email address and phone number are not publicly displayed on Twitter, even if you have enabled the setting that lets others find you by your email address or phone number.
Can you see who looks at your Twitter?
To answer this question right off the bat – no. It’s not possible to find out who is vising your profile on Twitter. Unlike LinkedIn, which gives you the option to view who clicks on your profile, Twitter does not offer this feature.
What happens when you report someone on Twitter?
We will review the reported account and/or Tweet(s), and/or Direct Message(s). If we determine that the account, and/or Tweet(s), and/or Direct Message(s) are in violation of our policies, we will take action (ranging from a warning to permanently suspending the account).
