When Shen doesn’t cancel after-school or evening activities, it DOES NOT prohibit or prevent an event organizer from canceling or rescheduling the event due to weather or road conditions.
How are school delays and/or closures decided in a snow emergency?
Options for school delays and/or closure due to a snow emergency will be deliberated and decided by the Superintendent in collaboration with the Director of Transportation and Director of Facilities and Operations. The objective is to have a final decision made by 5:00AM.
