How long do I leave in Splat hair dye?
SPLAT TIP: When applying the dye, feel free to let it soak in for a long time (at least an hour and a half). The longer the color soaks in, the more “true to the box” your results will be, and it will last longer.
How long does splat wash take?

Splat usually washes out in about 6 weeks, but it may wash out more quickly if your hair is not bleached. It will also appear more subtle on unbleached hair, so it might look like it’s completely gone sooner than it would otherwise.
Can I mix conditioner with splat hair dye?
I mix some of the dye into both my shampoo and conditioner. I also leave my conditioner on for at least 3 minutes in the shower. Just make sure you use gloves when shampooing and conditioning or your hand color will match your hair color.
Do you shampoo after Splat dye?
After you have applied Splat Hair Color and let process for the correct amount of time per the instructions, we suggest you rinse with a sulfate-free shampoo and cold water. Keep your new hue fresh by using Color Conditioning Masques that deposit purple, teal, or pink color gradually with each use.
What happens if you put hair dye on wet hair?
Wet hair — especially if it’s already dry or damaged — will absorb water before you even apply the dye, meaning it won’t absorb into hair cuticles as well. Instead, the color will be more diluted or subtle, sitting more on top of your hair.
How long can a rinse stay in your hair?
In general, you should only about 20 more minutes. However for stubborn gray hair, this could take up to 45 minutes.
Can I put splat on wet hair?

No worries, you don’t need to. We recommend colors be applied to Medium Blonde & light brown hair color. You can apply color to your darker hair, but the results will not be as bright or bold.
