What GPA do you need to be eligible for NJCAA?

They will need to have a minimum accumulation of 18 credit hours with a 2.0 GPA or higher to be eligible in Fall 2020. Because the student-athlete was enrolled full-time in spring 2020 academic term beyond the 18th calendar day of the term they can use the fall 2020 academic exceptions.
Do NJCAA athletes get paid?

In short, yes. Like the NCAA, the NJCAA has three divisions of which DI and DII are permitted to award athletic scholarships. DII JUCO scholarships may cover a student’s full tuition, books/supplies costs, and fees, while DI scholarships may cover these as well as room and board.

The program requires that you attend a junior college full-time for three consecutive years. The first year of your attendance would be devoted to catching up academically.
Can you transfer from JUCO to D1 after 1 year?
You need to graduate from your juco before you can transfer and compete at your new D1 school. If you transfer before you graduate, you may have to wait a year before you can compete.
