What is the Petone sprig and Fern tavern?
The Petone Sprig and Fern Tavern is set in the historic Raynor & Woodward hardware store building, which dates back well over a century. There’s lots of exposed brickwork inside, and the old sarking has been retained around the fireplace to pay tribute to the history of the building, whilst plenty of comfortable space and seating has been added.

The Tahuna Sprig and Fern Tavern opened just before Christmas 2012, and she’s a little beauty! The site that formerly operated as Amigos restaurant has been transformed into another charming suburban tavern, with classic weatherboard cladding and the white picket fence that has become one of the Sprig’s motifs.
