How accurate are GPS lap timer?
GPS means that the time can be kept accurate to within 1/10th of a second. The technology has been built into our high brightness OLED dashboard display, which can be connected to the VBOX in-car camera systems.
How does a lap timer work?
Lap timers are powered by a 3V button cell CR 2430 battery. To prevent that batteries “stand out” because of vibrations and crushes and the lap timer therefore turns off you should (when having this problem) put foam rubber in the cavity.
