What should I start painting first?
There is no right answer here, but if you are just starting out in painting then I recommend you start with acrylics or oils. But feel free to start with watercolors if you are up for the challenge. Also, this is not to say you must choose a medium and ignore the rest.

- Lay out the primary colors on your pallet.
- First, use your red to create the outside arch for your rainbow.
- You will be mixing secondary colors from these primary colors to make more colors!
- First mix orange by combining red and yellow.
- Next mix green using yellow and blue.
- Finally, mix purple using red and blue.
Should I learn to draw or paint first?

How do I teach my 3 year old to draw?
