Combustion analyzers are instruments with multifunctional capabilities that are designed to calculate the efficiency of various types of furnaces, heaters, and boilers by determining an array of parameters such as gas levels, flue pressure, and stack temperature.
What is Fyrite?
The Fyrite® Classic is a tried-and-true instrument for measuring oxygen and carbon dioxide. The Fyrite® Classic is available for O2 or CO2, and each gas type of Fyrite® is available in multiple ranges to meet a variety of applications, from combustion analysis to incubators to anesthesiology.
How do you calibrate an o2 analyzer?
Press and hold the Cal button on the Oxygen Analyzer for at least 3 seconds to activate calibration. The Analyzer will detect a stable Sensor signal. When obtained, the Analyzer will display the assumed calibration gas on the LCD.

The higher the CO2 level, the more efficient the engine is running. Optimum CO2 is 12% to 15 %. CO2 can be used as an efficiency meter of the engines combustion efficiency. When there is a problem that affects the combustion process, the CO2 will drop below 12%.

Do you have to calibrate an oxygen sensor?
A brand new O2 Gas Sensor does not need to be calibrated, but the sensor will drift over time and will need to be calibrated. To calibrate the sensor, follow the normal 2-point calibration procedure. -For the first point, push and hold the calibrate button on the sensor using a paper clip or LabQuest stylus.
