Our visit was during Covid and Franklin County asks that you wear masks and stay apart. But when you walk up to the door, it has a sign posted saying that everyone must be 6 feet apart and wear a mask.

Yes. They are allowed at Elephant Rocks, but not at the nearby Johnson Shut Ins. over a year ago. According to the Missouri State Parks website, up to two dogs per family is allowed, so long as they are kept on a leash and their waste is cleaned up.

Does Johnson shut ins have WiFi?
There is almost no cell phone service in the campground, every once in a great while we would happen to get one bar but that was the best. Wi-fi is only available at the general store; not within the entire campground and some campsites are quite the walk from the store.
