Is Rod and staff a good curriculum?
We have been using Rod and Staff English for 3 years now and it has been one of my tried and truly loved curriculums. We started using Rod and Staff when each of the children reached 3rd grade level. Rod and Staff is a publisher that produces bible-based curriculum for Christian schools and homeschoolers.
Is Rod and Staff math advanced?
Rod & Staff is clear, simple math explained well. My children finished one-and-a-half to two books per calendar year in grades 1-4, and continue to do well. After finishing the 5th year curriculum, one child took the Saxon math placement test, and placed in the Saxon 87 book.
What is CLE homeschool curriculum?
Christian Light Education is a complete curriculum from grades 1 through 12, including teacher material, support items, and an extensive line of high school electives.
Is Rod and staff enough?
Rod and Staff may not suit every learning or teaching style, but if you want a solid, well-written grammar curriculum that will help your children understand and apply good English to their speech and writing, I can’t recommend Rod and Staff English enough.

CLE Mathematics is not aligned exactly with the Common Cores Standards but it is close. For example, CLE exceeds the standards in its introduction of multiplication by three-digit multipliers in fourth grade while it trails the standards by delaying multiplication of fractions by whole numbers until fifth grade.
