Will Worlds Adrift come back?
It’s a sad day for all of us as Worlds Adrift is coming to an end. At Bossa Studios we love taking risks and making stuff that no one dares to do in order to create great original experiences for players. We’re going to keep on doing that.
Can you still play Worlds Adrift?
Following the conclusion of the “End of the world” in-game event, Worlds Adrift was discontinued on July 26, 2019 by Bossa Studios, who cited the game being no longer commercially viable as the reason for its shutdown.
Why is Worlds Adrift closing?
“Creating an MMO like Worlds Adrift is a huge financial commitment and unfortunately the game is just no longer commercially viable.” A few months on, and the developer remains convinced it was the right course of action for the future of the studio.
