Can you return a rental car at any time?
If you return your rental car at a time other than what is on your rental agreement, the company might charge a fee for modifying your reservation. While the rental car company will ordinarily charge only for days used, there might be additional fees involved with changing the contract after pickup.
Can you smoke in Enterprise rental cars?
No. Smoking in all of our rental vehicles is prohibited under all circumstances.
Do I need to clean a hire car?
Whilst there is no set rule here, it’s reasonable to say that under normal use you wont be expected to wash your rental car (or have it washed) before you return it. Whilst the car will be valeted before you take delivery, you needn’t return it as clean as it was at pick up.
Can I return a car early to Hertz?
Please note that we are unable to give a refund if you return the vehicle early.
Does Hertz have a grace period for returns?
Hertz allow a 59 minutes grace period. If a renter returns later than this grace period, Hertz charge for extra hours. Excess hour is charged at one fifth of the daily rate subject to a maximum of 5 hours. Thereafter, full day rate will apply.
Do you have to wash a rental car before returning it Europcar?
