Do you get gifts on bid day?
Bid Day Gifts are a special bundle of gifts sent to any new Sorority girl after she receives her Bid (invitation) to join a Sorority. Due to Covid, Baylor will not allow deliveries to the dorms, so the GREAT NEWS is that we are now personally delivering the Bid Day packages to the girls.
What is bid day in America?
Bid day is the final day of recruitment and can have several different outcomes: the PNM could receive a bid from her top choice, receive a bid from one of the other chapters she visited on preference night, not receive a bid, or receive a phone call offering a snap bid.
What happens if you don’t get a bid on bid day?
What happens if you don’t get a bid? Unfortunately, there are women who do not get a bid on Bid Day. If you do not end up with a bid, your recruitment counselor will call you the morning of Bid Day and will let you know that you did not receive a bid.

Is Bid day fun?
Although it might be the most fun day for you and your actives, bid day can be a little overwhelming for your new recruits. With these bid day activities and icebreakers, your new members will sure to feel welcomed, included and like they are really getting to know their new sisters in a no pressure situation.

How do bigs choose their Littles?
Most sororities allow potential Bigs to vote on their soon to be Littles. Then, a member (or members) in the sorority goes through and mutually connects Bigs and Littles. It is all based on the rankings you submitted. Do not worry EVERY potential Little gets a Big!
Can you drop on bid day?
You can drop out at any time. You need to talk to your recruitment counselor and fill out some paperwork. If you drop out of sorority recruitment before Bid Day, you can: participate in COB (see option #6)
Do sororities choose based on looks?
There are some that seemingly ignore appearance. But for the most part, sororities treat appearance like most other parts of society: it certainly helps, but it’s not a deal breaker. How people look and present themselves is an indicator of their personality.
