Is Eastbourne airshow on this year 2021?
AIRSHOW NEWS: Airbourne Eastbourne will not take place in 2021 but hopes to return in 2022. Eastbourne Borough Council, organisers of the popular Airbourne 4 day airshow have announced that the event will not return in 2021. They do however hope to return in 2022 with a more sustainable event.

The Red Arrows are set to return to this year’s Bournemouth Air Festival after making a triumphant return to the Dorset festival in 2021. The iconic flying display team returned to the large festival last year after a two-year gap after they toured USA and the 2020 event was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Eastbourne Carnival has adopted the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee as its theme for this year’s event. The event is taking place on June 4 and the parade will start at the Western Lawns at 2pm before heading towards Princes Park.

The last Southend Airshow was held in 2012, and it was cancelled in 2013 due to austerity cutbacks by Southend Council.

The event features Battle of Britain memorial flights and aircraft from the RAF and USAF, among others, and enjoys a long relationship with the Red Arrows display team.
When will the Red Arrows be at Eastbourne Airshow 2018?
The Red Arrows have been announced for a highly-anticipated appearance in Sussex’s skies this summer. The iconic RAF display team has been confirmed to feature at Eastbourne Airshow this August and will appear for all four days of the event’s programme.
What happened at the 2019 RAF airshow?
The 2019 airshow saw displays from the Breitling Jet Team, RAF Typhoon , Chinook , The Blades , Wingwalkers, The Tigers, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Ultimate Warbirds, MiG-15 and many more! Ground displays open 10am – 6pm daily, with flying from lunchtime until approx. 5pm.
