What bushings come with Bear trucks?
Interestingly, Bear includes different durometers for each baseplate angle. They included slightly harder bushings on the 40º baseplate, as more of your weight will be on the bushing, for a more solid feel. On the 50º baseplates, you’ll find 90A bushings, while the 40º trucks have 93A bushings.
Are Bear trucks any good?
Yes. Despite being playful underfoot, these trucks are quite stable. They have a strong center, meaning they won’t turn left or right unless you engage them and make a deliberate input. They are well supported throughout the lean and turn by the plug-barrel.

Do all bushings fit all trucks?
All trucks come with stock bushings, but some prefer to replace them. Not everybody weighs the same and skaters prefer different tightness on the trucks. Note that bushings need to break in a little before you can tell you want to replace them.

Can you grind with RKP trucks?
Due to the orientation of the kingpin in RKPs, grinding and slappies are usually not ideal on RKP style trucks, but can certainly still be done. Reverse kingpin trucks also tend to have more stock baseplate angles to choose from (read about baseplate angles).
What is longboard truck rake?

What size bushings do I need?
There are a lot of different types of bushings but not all are suitable for every skateboard. If you ride a regular skateboard barrel/cone bushings with a hardness between 87A and 92A should be fine. Heavier riders should consider 94A, kids need softer bushings, 85A to 90A should work for most kids under 12.
