What is a discovery module?
Discovery Modules give you the opportunity to broaden your academic experience and enhance your employability. You can choose to take a Discovery Module which develops a specific skill (e.g. a language) or which allows you to pursue a personal interest (e.g. sustainability).
Do discovery modules count towards degree?
If you are doing a Foundation Degree or Diploma of Higher Education (two-year programmes) all modules taken over the course of your programme of study will normally count towards classification.
How many credits do you need to pass first year university UK?

How do I get a copy of my university degree UK?
You can have your certified copies made at the Central Student Service Desk upon presentation of the original documents and a valid ID card.

- Request extract and list of grades.
- Request a statement of graduation or a statement of registration.
Can I fail a discovery module?
If you fail an elective/discovery module, you might be able to progress without it, but you’ll have fewer credits. It’s advised that you resit any failed assessments so that you gain as many credits as possible.
Can I get a copy of my degree certificate UK?
Replacement and additional Degree certificates If your degree certificate is lost, stolen or damaged, you can order a replacement certificate at a cost of £30. Please note that students are only permitted to have one copy of their certificate in their possession at any one time, so multiple copies cannot be requested.
How many credits is a Leeds degree?
