Is Look compatible with Shimano pedals?
Look’s three-bolt pedals are incompatible with Shimano SPD-SL. Other road-going systems with a three-bolt cleat design include Time’s road pedals, but again there is no cross-compatibility with Shimano SPD-SL pedals.
Are Look and Shimano pedals the same?
For example, Shimano SPD-SL cleats are based on the Look system but Shimano cleats are not compatible with Look pedals and vice versa. Some companies, like Ritchey and Wellgo, do make cleats and pedals that are compatible with other brands but it is important to check compatibility before buying.

Keo cleats are NOT compatible with any Look pedal system except the Keo. The Delta cleat is compatible with all Look pedals systems except the Keo. The Keo cleats are available in two options: One is the “Red” cleat that allows for 9 degrees of rotational float.
Can I put LOOK Delta cleats on Shimano shoes?
Look Delta cleats are not compatible with Look KEO or Shimano systems. Please ensure to check the cleats are compatible with your set-up prior to purchase to avoid disappointment!

Are Look cleats the same as SPD-SL?
A common question is “are the Look and SPD-SL systems interchangeable?” The answer is not entirely. A three-bolt shoe that first a Look cleat will also fit an SL cleat. But the sizes are just a few millimeters off when it comes to the cleat-pedal fit, so a SL cleat needs to fit to an SL pedal.
Is Look Delta same as SPD?
DELTA PEDAL Featuring a triangular shape and more open pedal attachment, this is the LOOK DELTA (also known as DELTA, LOOK, SPD SL). Most commonly found on Peloton bikes. This combination is not compatible with our Slipstreams.
Do Look Delta cleats fit SPD?
Also known as the “universal mount”, these are modified road shoes that can attach both Shimano® SPD® and LOOK® Delta cleats. It’s a great option for those who might prefer the road shoe feel but need Shimano® SPD® cleats for the bikes at their Spinning® studio.
