What does Awana T stand for?
Welcome to T, also known as Truth and Training. The mission statement of Awana includes training children to KNOW, LOVE, and SERVE the Lord Jesus Christ. T builds on that as the curriculum teaches third to sixth graders the TRUTH of who God is and TRAINS them to share this truth as they follow Him.
What are the different levels of Awana?
Our Awana clubs for preschool and elementary age children are divided into three groups based on age. They are: Cubbies for the two years before Kindergarten (age 3 by Sept. 1), Sparks for Kindergarten through 2nd grade and T for 3rd through 5th grades.

The Timothy award includes a trophy, which is earned by completing all four handbooks by the end of sixth grade. A clubber has memorized 310 verses by the time they earn the Timothy award (AWANA International, 2004). Almost all of the participants had the trophy in their room or a place where they can plainly see it.
