How do I get a Sylenth1 license?
First start Sylenth1 in your host software. Sylenth1 will automatically ask you to enter your activation code. You can find this code in your license email. Enter the code and click OK.
Does Sylenth1 work on M1 Mac?
Yes, we have tested Sylenth1 on Apple M1 on Big Sur and it runs smoothly and without issues because of Rosetta. We will be working on a native ARM version as well, which will speed up things some more, but it already works quite well at this point.
Is Serum better than Sylenth1?
The overall functionality is probably the biggest difference between both synths. Yes, Sylenth1 is great for creating all kinds of basic sounds, but in contrast to Serum you actually can’t do that much with it.
How do I deactivate Sylenth1?
First you need to deactivate Sylenth1 on your old computer by clicking MENU -> Deactivate on Sylenth1’s user interface. After that you can install Sylenth1 on your new computer and activate it as usual. If you deleted Sylenth1 without deactivating it, then you need to re-install and re-activate it.
Are Vsts compatible with Mac?
VST’s were initially only compatible with the Windows OS, but they are now compatible with Mac as well. The latest version is VST 3.0.
Can FL Studio run on Mac M1?
When running FL Studio on an Apple Silicon (M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max CPUs) you have two options as described below. Run FL Studio 20.9 (or later) in Apple Silicon mode and FL Studio will handle any older plugins for you. Run FL Studio in Rosetta Mode and all plugins should work. The OS will handle it all for you.
Is massive like serum?
Serum is a dedicated wavetable synthesizer but Massive is closer to a general subtractive synth. Massive does not allow custom wavetables, but Serum has many features for crafting your own from scratch. The newer Massive X on the other hand is much more geared towards wavetables.
