Can you wash vitamix dry container?
Place 4 cups of cool water and 4 cups of white vinegar into the container and let it soak for about four hours. Pour contents out and rinse thoroughly. Then follow the appropriate cleaning instructions above. We do not recommend placing the container or lid into the dishwasher as this may harm its components.

Does the vm0137 work in a Vitamix?
Model: VM0137. Both containers (32 oz Dry Grains and the regular 32 Container) look identical on the outside, but the blades are different. Yes, it works! When my large and ancient grain grinder finally breathed its last at a rather inconvenient time, I happily decided to try this Vitamix container and have never looked back.
Is the Vitamix dry container flour any good?
My take is the Vitamix dry container and the Mockmill cannot compete with the Kitchen Mill for a fine grind of flour (like you’d get from King Arthur flour). Is the dry container flour good to use, a resounding yes.
Is the Vitamix a good flour grinder?
The Vitamix takes up only a fraction of the cupboard real estate that the previous mill required and it does a superb job of turning wheat and rye berries to flour. I do recommend investing in ear protection because it is noisy–as was the old grinder.
