Acclaimed electronic artist Burial never appears in public, does not perform live and worked anonymously before 2008, when he was revealed to be London native William Bevan.
How did burial get famous?
Initially remaining anonymous, Burial became the first artist signed to Kode9’s electronic label Hyperdub in 2005. He won acclaim the following year for his self-titled debut album, which showcased a dark, emotive take on UK rave music styles such as UK garage and 2-step; it was named the album of the year by The Wire.
What happens at a burial?
At a burial, the committal service typically takes place at the graveside of your loved one and may include prayers and readings. When you are ready to say goodbye to the deceased, the coffin or casket is lowered into the ground. You may scatter soil onto the coffin or throw flowers into the grave as it is lowered.

After about 3-8 hours is starts to stiffen, and from approximately 8-36 hours it will be stiff and cold. The body becomes stiff because of a range of chemical changes in the muscle fibres after death. After about 36 hours the chemical bonds resulting in the stiffness break down and the body will become soft again.

Why does someone walk in front of a hearse?
When the cortege is ready to leave, the funeral director will ask everyone to make their way to their cars. The funeral director will then walk in front of the hearse for a short distance. This is a mark of respect to the deceased and also gives following cars an opportunity to join the cortege.
