Use a clean tea towel to thoroughly dry the chips. Place the chips in the ActiFry Pan. Drizzle evenly with the oil. Cook for 30 to 40 minutes until the chips are crisp, golden and cooked through, (the cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the chips and the variety of potato used).
Can you put frozen chips in actifry?
Add frozen chips to Air Fryer basket (or tray) and cook for 10 mins. Pull the Air Fryer basket out after 10 mins, rest of a heat proof surface, detach from base and give the basket a shake. Alternatively use kitchen tongs to push and rotate the chips around a little exposing the less cooked sides.

Yes you can use it without the paddle inside. I would just recommend turning over whatever you are cooking half way through or take out the paddle cook it half way and put it back in once the food has a crust, if you want your food to be moved around.
